Comfort, durability, and design are at the top of every mother’s mind when choosing an outfit for her children. Our client Marina also had these requirements when she approached us for a white Holy Communion gown for her daughter. Here is how we created a memorable outfit for the special occasion.
Keeping her daughter’s comfort in mind, we recommended Marina an A-line silhouette for the gown. Furthermore, we suggested using four different layers of fabric to add more volume to the skirt.
The first layer was of comfortable cotton. The second layer was of crepe for extra volume. For the third layer, we chose satin to add shine to the gown. And the final layer needed to be transparent so that the satin could shine through. Marina did not prefer net fabric as it tears easily, so we chose Organza instead for a floaty effect.
To add some eye-catching details to the white gown, we went with an illusion boat neckline. We also added short sleeves with scallops as a cute and trendy design element.

Marina’s daughter looked angelic in the white gown for the Church function. The A-line silhouette gave the gown a dreamy look, while the fabrics we chose kept the little one comfortable throughout the ceremony.
