A wedding reception is an excellent occasion to flaunt an Indo-western or shimmery western look. Our client Anna also had something similar in mind for her brother’s reception in Bangalore. She approached Lavender, The Boutique on the quest for a stylish reception party dress. Here’s how our designers created the perfect dress for her, keeping all her requirements in mind.
Since the reception was in summer, Anna wanted her custom-made Western dress in a summery lavender hue. We loved her colour choice because lavender is a trendy hue that is ideal for summer weddings.
To add a rich feel to her lavender reception dress, we suggested that she should go with a satin base fabric with an embroidered net fabric on top.

The sheen of satin and the embroidered net imparted the perfect wedding guest look to the outfit. We added an A-line silhouette to complement Anna’s body type, and created a stylish illusion neck with full sleeves to add a wow factor to the dress. We also created a belted look at the waistline for a flattering cinching effect.
Furthermore, keeping the summer heat in mind, our designers added a crepe and cotton lining to Anna’s dress so that she could be comfortable throughout the event.
