At Lavender, The Boutique, we are thrilled when clients trust us with multiple outfits for their special occasions. This was the case when sisters Shilpa and Neelima entrusted us with the task of designing their respective wedding gowns as well as three bridesmaid dresses for the events. Neelima was getting married first, and Shilpa’s wedding was a few days later. Hence, Shilpa was also a bridesmaid at Neelima’s wedding. Here is how we created three matching bridesmaid gown dresses for the special week!
Our team suggested an ice blue colour for the bridesmaid gowns because it is a trendy choice for daytime Church weddings. We also recommended a comfortable chiffon fabric for the dresses as it is a breezy and flowy material. The sisters loved these ideas, and we proceeded to design the dresses accordingly.
To stick to the flowy theme for the blue bridesmaid gown dresses, we selected an A-line silhouette. We created this silhouette with two layers of blue chiffon fabric. We also draped the yoke of the bridesmaid dresses with the same chiffon fabric and added Chantilly lace dyed in a blue colour to the sleeves.
Our designers chose a V-neck for the front and the back as it is a universally flattering neckline. Also, to make sure that the bridesmaids were comfortable during the wedding festivities, we added a soft crepe lining to the gowns.

The three bridesmaids looked stylish and pretty in their matching blue bridesmaid gowns. The flowy chiffon and delicate lace sleeves gave the dresses a dreamy effect. Plus, the matching blue dresses looked extremely photogenic at the wedding!
