Our client Shravani was looking for a peach color dress for her nephew’s naming ceremony – something elegant and shimmery but not too over the top
Our designers recommended an A-line gown with sequin work all over. We chose satin in a light shade of peach as the base fabric and added organza with a sequin sheath on top to give a soft, ethereal finish to the outfit
Since there were embellishments all over the dress, we chose simple elbow sleeves and a boat neckline to let the sequin work be the star of the outfit. The A-line silhouette was chosen as it would flatter Shravani’s body type, and the flare of the skirt would allow her to twirl the gown for stunning shots.
Each design element was picked to make sure that the gown looked festive and classy, aka perfect for the occasion of the naming ceremony and something that Shravani could re-wear to any other special event too
The Final Look
Shravani styled the peach gown with minimalistic accessories and tied her hair in a low bun so that the neckline of the gown could accentuate her collar bones beautifully. Her charming smile added the perfect finishing touch to this sparkly outfit and made her look picture perfect in the gorgeous sequin gown
