Who doesn’t want to look stylish and unique at every party they attend? When it comes to special occasions, one always looks for a fashionable outfit that will stand out from the rest. Our client Harshita visited Lavender, The Boutique on the quest for such a party outfit with an Indo-Western vibe. Here is how our team designed a classy dress for her with an ethnic touch.
When it comes to partywear, you can’t go wrong with a classy shade like Black. Therefore, our designers suggested Harshita to go for a black dress. Given that she wanted something Indo-Western, we recommended a floor-length Anarkali dress.
The flare of the dress would add much-needed drama to the outfit and the silhouette would flatter her figure really well. Harshita liked this idea, so we proceeded with the fabric selection.
Given that the dress would have an Indian touch, we chose a black pure cotton linen fabric. This fabric is suitable for the Indian climate because of how breathable it is. We also chose a traditional Zari border for the dress to add a festive element to the outfit and create a stunning contrast with the black.
The final outfit had a panelled A-line silhouette for the skirt. The front neckline was a simple round neck, while for the back, we chose a backless style with a Dori till the waistline. We also kept the dress sleeveless, keeping in mind Harshita’s preference and comfort.
