Our next client, Sujatha, and Ashwin visited us looking for an outfit for their little girl who was turning one soon. They mentioned that they will throw a party on this occasion where the theme of the party will be ‘Fairy.’ Our team was excited to work around this theme and design something fairy-like for their little girl
We designed a beautiful and cute frock for her that has all the elements of fun and drama. We went with baby pink and wine color fabric for this look. The bodice of the frock was stitched out of a rich wine color satin fabric. The entire bodice was embellished with beautiful handmade flowers in pink color.
The bottom half of the birthday dress was given an asymmetrical flair using layers of organza fabric in a subtle pink shade. To give more fun and movement to the frock we added Tungus wire to the hem of the layers of organza fabric giving it more volume
Since this was a fairy themed party, we wanted to make a beautiful tiara for our little fairy. We used a pink satin fabric to make this tiara and hardened it to give it a sturdy shape. We embellished it with floral embroidery
To complete this birthday dress, we also made a pair of booties (cute shoes) for our birthday girl. We used a pink organza fabric on the surface and a satin fabric for the soles. Syncing it more with the outfit we embellished these cute booties with small pink flowers
