Keeping that in mind, we wanted to design something for our client, Himika, whose sister was getting married soon. Himika brought a gorgeous off-white net saree with a golden border and has embroidery all over it. White is an unusual color to be worn in an Indian wedding event. But we think that Himika is all set to break the monotony of colors at her sister’s wedding
In a blouse design, a neckline and its sleeve define the aesthetic of the look.
Jewel neckline is in trend and it gives the option of not wearing another piece of jewelry around your neck. Himika liked the idea as she wanted to avoid wearing a necklace at the function
We also gave a classic elbow length sleeve with pearl beads hanging at the edge of the blouse. To enhance the appeal of the blouse, we added a golden border to the sleeves and to the circumference of the blouse at the bottom.
The embroidery on her blouse was created to complement the patterns on her sheer net saree.To keep the design a little modern and contemporary – we gave her a keyhole back
