This party wear gown has been designed from Nalini’s lavender colour banarasi saree. We used the sari pallu on the sleeves & on the sides of the gown dress.. The saree border was re-used as a stylish border for the flare of the gown.. Embellished the flare with zarkan stones & light embroidery on the neckline..
Basically a complete makeover of a traditional Indian Saree to a western style gown
For the pre-marriage party, she chose this beautiful yellow saree & we created this simple blouse with contrasting pink pleats on sleeve
At the main family function, she decided on the traditional Kanjivaram silk saree & this time we did not use the blouse piece that came with the saree but added some spark with a contrasting pink colour blouse with embroidery on shoulders
