It is every parent’s dream to dress up their little girl like a princess for her first birthday. Our client Vidya visited Lavender, The Boutique, with the same vision for her daughter Janhvi, who was about to turn 1. Vidya wanted Janhvi to wear a beautiful birthday frock that was also soft and comfortable. She was particular about the outfit being toddler-friendly and non-abrasive so that Janhvi could enjoy her birthday party to the fullest. Keeping this brief in mind, our designers set out on the mission to create a spectacular birthday party dress.
While designing Jahnvi’s birthday gown, our team paid close attention to the colour, comfort and overall aesthetic of the outfit. Since satin is a soft and glossy material, it is considered kid-friendly and comfortable. Hence, our designers paired double-layered satin with fluffy organza for a comfortable and floaty dress.
As for the colour of the birthday dress, we chose a peachy-pink shade that is a popular choice for kid’s fashion. We thought that this soft colour would pair beautifully with Janhvi’s innocent personality.
For embellishing the birthday gown’s neckline, we chose soft and rounded pearls that would not hurt Janhvi
We also added these pearls to the ultrasoft canvas booties that we made to match the outfit
As the final finishing touch to the look, we designed a beautiful bow headband with the gown’s fabric. With this matching accessory, Janhvi’s first birthday outfit was complete!
Janhvi looked angelic in her first birthday dress and seemed comfortable in the soft outfit. The headband and booties doubled up the cuteness of the gorgeous frock. Moreover, the satin and organza dress had a beautiful sheen that made our little client the star of the show. We hope to dress her up again for her many birthdays to come!
